The past two weekends have been amazing. The new man in my life really knows how to impress a girl.
The new man needs a pseudonym, so how about I call him my TC for Texas Cowboy.
First weekend we went away to Carmel. It was a last moment, no plans, get in the car and go type of a trip; and it could of not turned out more perfectly timed in the romantic sense. We got to Carmel, without reservations had late lunch at this delicious restaurant, afterwards caught the sunset on the beach, then found the last room at this amazing historical hotel....and it just went on and on. Its has always been a secret wish of mine to go away to the ocean for a romantic weekend. The weekend totally lived up to my expectations, but more importantly TC totally surpassed all of my expectations.
The following weekend I went up to Petaluma to spend time time with TC who lives there. (Why is it that most of my men are from the North Bay? Millions of men in Silicon Valley, but I always find the ones in Petaluma.) He planned to woe me with a home cooked meal, but other things got in the way; my hair appointment ran late, we went out to the city on Friday, and of course caught up on sleep. Aside from one case of "men-can-be-assholes-itus" it was an almost perfect weekend. And to be fair he did apologize for that.
So I wonder what adventure the next weekend will bring? That will be my birthday weekend.

I can not talk. Since Friday I have been silent and my I have been fulfilling my need to communicate via IM and yahoo. And for someone like me who has a lot to say, well that was a lot of typing. It have also been a total couch potato and TV addict: Bridgette Jones, Arthur, Ladder 49, The Big Easy, Eurotrip, and a few other things. Ellen Barkin and Dennis Quade in the Big Easy really has chemistry on the screen. Yummy!

How can I go from a wonderful Halloween weekend with my new infatuation to such a crap Tuesday. I just do not understand this whole hot and cold thing men have. First they blow hot and then they just loose interest. If they don't care, they should just not even start a flirtation. GRRRRRRRRRRRR

This has been a crazy time....I think that I am seeing men in a whole new light....
- My ex(third one ago) contacted me and we are talking again. The banter is the same, but there is an undertone there, a bit of uncertainly. I have no expectations, but on some level its so comfortable, like putting on a great pair of worn-in jeans.
- Men who say they are shy....don't act shy. I have a friend who says he is very shy, but he tell me what he wears (or doesn't) when he first wakes up. And my other friend met a man who thinks he is shy, but he has called her like 5 times in the last two days.
- Nice jewish boys don't need to chase any girls. The nice jewish girls are so aggressive chasing them, its scary. I was at a party this weekend, and the girls were so agressive. I would talk to guys I knew (who were just acquaintances) and I could not event finish the conversations, because some girl would come up and grab them and drag them off. Literally! I was just talking, not flirting...not even trying to flirt.

veggin' out and watching tivoed GH episodes. today the cleaners came and i am so loving my nice clean place. my friend and her fiance came over for dinner, and we had a great time. i made lamb and we ate ouside by candle-light. it was great. now i am so excited for a relaxing weekend. doing nothing is going to feature highly on the agenda.

it has been a crazy monday ans now i am just waiting for kitty to come in so we can both go to bed. just finished pigging out on russian comfort food (you do not want to know) and beer. tomorrow is back to eatting sensibily but for tonight its a feast.
btw - this weekend i realized the my guy friend is a great cook, a great chef and loves ballet....and he has an amazing body. yummmy....:-)
still waiting to meet my flyboy. i will see him in two weeks....also yummy.....
well its back to watching my favorite soap....goodnite

i am having so much fun doing nothing this weekend.
it sucks that mike has a problem dialing my number. i think its back to the dating pool. i hate dating, it so tiring. finding men to date is not the problem, it weeding out the weirdos that is a problem. my commitmentphobe and weirdo radar is malfunctioning. that is all i find.....where are the normal men?
the only bad part of today was my inability to change my bbq gas tank. now i am on my lonesome, and i did not have enough strength to get the piping unscrewed fromm the gas canister. so i had this perfect stake marinading, and no place to cook it.
i need a man around to help me with these things.....

well i am back from DC. I had a great time, but i am sooo tired. moving my sister back into the dorms gave me enough exercise for a year. i love being back but i miss her.
i am back and its quiet. mike is playing possum again. i just do not understand him. why do men go hot and cold with women. the long weekend is coming up and i do not want to do anything. in fact i am so excited to do almost nothing.
well i am getting sleeepy, so nite nite....
